About Me:
I've been infatuated with diving since 2009 and always seek to better improve the personal skills of my students, and myself. I am a current scientific diver with the University of Hawaii at Hilo researching the ecology of deep coral reefs. Diving is such a great tool that we can use to understand what is going on with the oceans to better invest how we can conserve our aquatic resources. Some of my favorite dive experiences include taking my rebreather and scooter to 500 feet, going for a relaxing side mount dive, or seeing a student's face light up as they try diving for the first time.
