The "Try Scuba Diving" course is an entry level course designed for NON-certified divers to safely and comfortably experience the wonders of diving in a controlled environment and/or confined water. This class incorporates basic diving theory, knowledge and the use of the equipment underwater.
The "Try ScubaDiving" course is normally conducted over a 1 day period, and cumulatively involves a minimum of 4 hours of instruction including academics and pool/confined water experience, with a maximum depth of 10’/3m using air as a breathing gas.
The theory, knowledge and equipment used are consistent with full certification and one can be upgraded to full ZUBA Junior Open Water diver if older than 10 years of age or full SCUBA Open Water Diver if older than 16 years of age.

Class Information
The UTD "Try Scuba Diving" Class is normally conducted over a 1 day period, and cumulatively involves a minimum of 4 hours of instruction designed to provide a introduction to UTD equipment configuration, basic scuba diving physics and physiology, physiology, situational awareness and understanding diving environment.
Course requirements include a home study online course or printed book with minimum of one (1) hour of academic review and one (1) hour of confined water work, to experience diving

The use of prescription drugs must be authorized prior to the onset of diver training by a physician
